White Space Fit-Out
Services Overview
White space is the raised floor area where your racks actually live. We take that empty hall and turn it into a working production environment: floor grid setting out, rack row placement, hot and cold aisle containment, overhead or underfloor cable pathways, power distribution to rack level, cooling connection and full labelling. You get a fit-out delivered as one coordinated project rather than a queue of trades tripping over each other.
Why It Matters
White space is expensive real estate and every centimetre is planned. Rows that are set out badly, containment that leaks air, or pathways that were never designed for growth will cap your capacity years earlier than the business case assumed. Getting the fit-out right protects both your uptime and the density you can reach later without rebuilding.
How It Works
01. Floor plan, capacity and density study
02. Set out of grid, rows and pathways
03. Rack placement and containment build
04. Power, cooling and cabling to rack level
05. Testing, labelling and as-built handover
We're here to help
Fitting out a new hall or expanding an existing one? Send us the floor plan and target density and we will come back with a layout, a scope and a fixed quotation.
White space is the technical area of a datacenter where IT equipment is installed: the raised floor, rack rows, containment, power and cooling to the racks. Grey space is the supporting plant such as chillers, generators and switchgear.
Yes. We build both hot and cold aisle containment including roofs, doors, blanking and brush strips. Containment is what stops your cold air mixing with hot exhaust, and it is usually the cheapest efficiency win available.
Yes. We regularly build new rows next to running production. We agree dust control, access, escorted deliveries and working windows in advance so live equipment is never at risk.
A small hall of 10 to 20 racks typically takes two to four weeks. Larger halls of 50 racks and above run six to twelve weeks depending on power, containment and cooling scope. The survey gives you a firm window.
Yes. We work with raised floor systems including panel cutting, grommets, pedestal adjustment and load checks, and we can coordinate the flooring contractor as part of the fit-out.
A tested, labelled and documented environment: rack elevations, containment layout, power and cooling verification records, cable schedules and photo documentation ready for your operations team or an auditor.
